Welcome to our Yeovil Counselling and Psychotherapy Service
We offer a broad range of help to adults and young people who are troubled by such problems as anxiety, depression, bereavement and disability. Talking with an experienced professional, who is not a family member or friend, can help people understand the causes of their unhappiness, distress and pain.
We were originally part of a well established team based in Dorchester http://www.psychotherapydorset.co.uk which I set up in 1998. This satellite service in Yeovil was launched in 2015.
If you know which member of our team you would like to talk with, please contact them direct. If you are not certain and want to discuss if therapy is right for you or are enquiring about low-cost help, please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 07714 330120.
I am Dr Mary Lister Ashby. I trained as a Jungian therapist in 1990 and have extensive experience of working both in the private and public sectors. I concentrate on the person as a whole rather than symptoms alone and tend to see people for long-term rather than short-term help. I am a training psychotherapist and supervisor with the Severnside Institute in Bristol.
Five colleagues work with me. They offer both short- and long-term help. Two work especially with young people.
